SNMP software management platform, Focal Point™, is designed to offer full SNMP read/write management capabilities via a user friendly graphical user interface (GUI).

Focal Point™ software allows the user to enable and disable features incorporated into each of the media converter modules. Features currently available on select Transition media converters include:

• AutoCross™ (automatic MDI/MDI-X)
• Link Pass Through
• Far End Fault
• Pause
• Source Address Change
• Bandwidth Allocation
• Loopback
• AIS (alarm indication signal)
• Group configuration

One of the most important features of this package is an integrated Trap Reciever. This important application has the following features:

• Receive all traps - including traps from third party devices
• Display all traps on console
• Log all traps to disk
• Convert traps to email messages
• Send audio alert beep on detection of traps
• All features configurable
