Scott Otis joined Transition Networks in September of 2013. Before joining Transition Networks, he served as Vice President of Operations for the Professional Services unit of TE Connectivity, Inc. (formally known as Tyco Electronics). TE Connectivity acquired ADC Telecommunications (ADC) in December 2010, where Scott was employed for nearly 27 years in a variety of roles including Vice President of Marketing and Business Development and various sales, product management, and corporate development roles earlier in his career at ADC.
Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and his MBA from the University of St. Thomas – School of Business.
Vice President, Product & Technology Development
Tom Savard, Ph.D. joined Transition Networks in January of 2013. Tom is responsible for directing R&D, Product Management, and Marketing. Tom’s background in innovation and portfolio management practices spans several industries including Telecommunications, Automotive, Defense and Space, and Medical Device. With his Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Lean Design experience, Tom develops organizations that reduce time to market, improve product quality, and increase the return on R&D investment.
Tom received his BA from St. John’s University, Collegeville, MN, and received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from Duke University.
Holly Wendler joined Transition Networks in February of 2014. Holly has a diverse background in both public and privately held companies, having held positions in accounting, audit and financial analysis for Lifetouch, ADC, UnitedHealthcare and most recently at Enventis (formerly known as HickoryTech).
Holly received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Concordia College and her MBA from St. Cloud State University.
Director of Manufacturing Operations
Deb Iwasko, Director of Manufacturing Operations, joined Transition Networks in January of 2003 as Quality Manager. In June of 2004 she was promoted to Manufacturing Manager. Prior to joining Transition, Deb has more than 15 years in quality in the manufacturing industry with Qualex Inc., a subsidiary of Eastman Kodak.
Deb has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Photographic Engineering Technology from St. Cloud State University.
Director of International Sales
Duane Olson joined Transition Networks’s International Sales department in February 1997. Since starting as the Latin America Sales Manager, he has also been given the responsibility of the Asia Pacific region. He became the Director of International Sales in January 2001. Before joining Transition Networks, Duane worked in Marketing at the Ford Motor Company in Valencia, Venezuela.
Duane is a graduate of St. Cloud State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business and Spanish in 1996.
Vice President of North American Sales
As the Vice President of North American Sales, Todd Trenasty is responsible for driving growth and customer success in the Service Provider, Enterprise, Channel and Federal Sales markets. Todd has over 20 years of experience in generating growth with successful companies in the Networking and Telecommunications Industries. He is focused on developing and leading a best-in-class sales organization and increasing the customer base while driving new business. Prior to joining Transition Networks, Todd held numerous sales and management positions with Tyco TSP, Allied Telesis, Kentrox, CopperCom and Lucent.
Todd received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Director, Sales and Customer Operations
David Allton joined Transition Networks in September 2008 as Customer and Technical Support Manager. He was promoted to his present position in August 2013.
Before joining Transition Networks, David held Global Technical Sales Management roles, with Terawave Communication, ADC Telecommunications and General Instruments.
Human Resources Generalist
Renae Anlair joined Transition Networks in December of 2013. She began as the Human Resources Administrator, and is now the Human Resources Generalist responsible for leading the talent management initiatives as well as day-to-day administration. Renae’s areas of focus are Talent Management and Employee Engagement. She believes in aligning the talents within an organization to meet business needs by placing people in positions where they can be challenged, and receive continuous development and growth opportunities. She graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with Bachelor’s Degrees in Human Resources Development and Business Marketing Education.
