Verify Connectivity with Continuity Checks, Link Trace, and Loopbacks
Ethernet services continue to be one of the fastest growing services that carrier customers demand. Often times, there are multiple operators involved in delivering an Ethernet UNI to a customer – each with restricted management access to each other’s equipment. Because of this, service providers are turning to 802.1ag to deliver the standard specific protocols and procedures needed to support transport fault management.
